WAEC is a regional examination body in West Africa, responsible for the conduct of several types of examinations at the secondary school level across English-speaking West African countries. NECO, on the other hand, is an examination body in Nigeria that conducts the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination and the General Certificate in Education in June/July and December/January, respectively.
